Where Community Meets Creative

Founded by Dana Lynch · Wellesley, MA · Since 2019

Blue Kite Co. partners with schools, nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations on strategic and creative projects from concept through execution. Services include campaign and event materials, fundraising support, custom merchandise and apparel, collateral development, vendor management, and production coordination.

Built on firsthand experience as a volunteer, organizer, and small business owner, Blue Kite Co. understands how these groups operate and what it takes to move work forward. More than 200 projects and counting.

Every project starts with a conversation and stays collaborative throughout. No minimums. No runaround.

About the Kite

Blue Kite Company grew out of years spent leading and supporting community organizations including youth athletics, PTOs, and nonprofit committees. The work may be volunteer driven, but the initiatives are significant: annual silent auctions, holiday marketplaces, kitchen tours, 5K road races, and ongoing donor communications such as quarterly newsletters.

I partner with organizations to shape strategy and manage execution across messaging, events, apparel, signage, and vendor coordination. The focus is thoughtful planning, clear communication, and work that carries forward year after year.

Before founding Blue Kite Co. in 2019, I spent ten years in corporate partnership marketing and financial services.

Clients include MIT's System Design and Management program; the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club; Wellesley Boys Lacrosse; Susan G. Komen; and the PTOs of Fiske and Bates Elementary Schools. Many partnerships span multiple years, events, and leadership transitions.

What I Bring to Every Project

Blue Kite Co. is built on a background in corporate partnership marketing and financial services, leading account management, vendor relationships, and integrated marketing campaigns. That means the creative work is supported by structure, organization, and accountability.

My experience extends to strategic partnership development and event management, from coordinating a joint public event with the U.S. Postal Service to planning and promoting the Louie Awards, the greeting card industry's premier awards competition.

Whether you are a community organization looking for a creative partner or a mission driven company seeking strategic thinking and follow through, I would welcome the conversation.

Bleacher Supply Co.

An online team store platform built on Shopify for local sports programs. It began out of necessity. As a youth sports administrator, I found existing team stores expensive, limited to short ordering windows, and slow to ship.

Bleacher Supply Co. offers custom artwork, a full catalog of apparel and gear, and local delivery to reduce costs. Many of the vendor relationships and production systems that support Blue Kite Co.’s apparel work began here.

Beyond Client Work

Blue Kite Co. began with community organizations, and the work expanded from there. A team store became Bleacher Supply Co. A love of paper goods became Blue Kite Press. Volunteering with the Greeting Card Association led to national partnership and industry recognition work.

Blue Kite Press products are sold nationwide through retail and wholesale channels including pop up events, Etsy, Shopify, and Faire Marketplace. I participated in a pop up retail location with Project Pop Up in 2023 and exhibited at Noted+Gifted, a national stationery and gift trade show, from 2022 through 2024.

Greeting Card Association

Volunteering with the Greeting Card Association expanded my work into industry recognition, public affairs, and national partnerships.

On the Louie Awards committee, I facilitate the Boston judging hub, bringing together publishers, retailers, and print partners. On the Public Affairs Committee, our outreach to the Postal Service led to the Perfect Pairing campaign, a presentation to the Postmaster General, and a First Day of Issue public event in Providence.
