Blue Kite Co. grew out of my experience as a graphic designer, small business owner, and community volunteer. I've seen firsthand how much planning and coordination goes into bringing a great idea to life.
Today, I bring that experience to projects of all shapes and sizes, combining creative thinking with practical solutions and a personal approach. More than 200 projects and counting.
About the Kite
I've always believed that necessity is the mother of invention. Some of my best ideas have come from finding creative solutions to everyday challenges, whether for a client, a community organization, or one of my own projects.
The name Blue Kite was inspired by Benjamin Franklin's famous kite experiment and childhood visits to Philadelphia's Franklin Institute. I loved the sense of discovery there, especially the enormous statue of Ben Franklin in the rotunda. Years later, I enjoyed watching my own sons experience that same wonder.
Franklin's curiosity and willingness to experiment seemed like the perfect inspiration for a business built around asking questions, exploring possibilities, and finding practical solutions.
That spirit continues to guide my work today. Sometimes a simple idea solves an immediate problem. Other times, it grows into something much bigger.

Team Stores & Custom Merchandise
What started as a way to simplify team apparel orders for local youth sports organizations grew into Bleacher Supply Co., an online team store and fulfillment service. By combining custom merchandise, on-demand decoration, and local delivery, I made it easier for teams and community groups to offer branded gear without getting caught up in the details.

Blue Kite Press began as a small Etsy shop in 2019 and grew into a collection of colorful, nostalgia-inspired stationery, housewares, and gifts. Selling through Etsy, Shopify, Faire Marketplace to independent retailers nationwide has given me firsthand experience in product development, e-commerce, wholesale, and exhibiting at industry trade shows like *Noted+Gifted.

Industry Leadership & Community
Volunteering with the Greeting Card Association has been a rewarding way to contribute to the industry, build relationships, and explore new opportunities. As a member since 2021, I've served on the Louie Awards Committee, chaired the Marketing & Member Engagement Subcommittee, and helped strengthen the industry's partnership with the U.S. Postal Service. Highlights include presenting to the Postmaster General and organizing the Perfect Pairing Pop Up Party in Providence.
